Haley M. Paetzold
Bio
Attorney Haley Paetzold is a native of Connecticut with a passion for helping others who find themselves ensnared in the complex Criminal Justice System. Haley joined the firm as a Law Clerk and worked college breaks and summers there until she was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in November 2021. Since then, she was also admitted to the Federal bar in July 2022. Her practice area focus is criminal law, appearing before Connecticut state and federal courts.
In 2018, Haley received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Fairfield University, magna cum laude. She went on to earn her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, in 2021 from Quinnipiac University School of Law with a concentration in Criminal Law and Advocacy. During her time at Quinnipiac Law, she was an active member of the Mock Trial Society, and also served in the Quinnipiac Civil Justice Clinic, where she worked on a First Step Act compassionate release case, which was ultimately granted by a federal judge.
As a young lawyer, Haley has already tried three cases to verdict, two in state court and the other in federal court. Haley also attended the Trial Advocacy Institute Trial Training course in the spring of 2022, and the DefenderLab in July 2023. She handles a wide variety of cases in all court jurisdictions across the State of Connecticut.
